Extensive experience in providing specialist advice to both lenders and owners in addition to working with project developers, contractors and other specialist engineering advisors. He has a proven track record in project management and leading teams of engineers and consultants in the mechanical, electrical, transmission and distribution, renewable energy, geotechnical, social and environmental disciplines including experience of joint operations with all levels of ministry and private sector counterparts. Lenders Technical Advisor for the first independent power producer in South Africa using thermal power and hydro plant, during due diligence, construction and operation. Was part of multi-disciplinary team who did the National Infrastructure Resource Plan (NIRP) for the National Electricity Regulator of South Africa (NERSA), doing analysis and review of key electricity cost drivers in South Africa. He has developed software for modelling the economics of running power stations within the South African generation market as well as for analysis and reporting on the corporate business of the company. Heh has managed a SANAS accredited Government Authorised Inspection Authority for steam generators and pressure equipment for the past 15 years.
