This established engineering and management professional has experience in the electrical transmission and distribution networks, fire, security, industrial automation, IT and telecommunications industries working in Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Namibia, Swaziland, Uganda, Ghana, Cameroon Seychelles, Djibouti and the UAE. He has extensive technical and commercial knowledge regarding project development, project management, operations management, contract and cost management, bids, tenders and proposal management, sales and marketing, procurement and logistics. From 1970 as apprentice to 1990 as technologist, he laid his technical foundation with Transnet (Transtel Division), before spending the next eleven years with ABB and Alstom in project management and senior commercial roles. Via a consultancy, from 2012 to 2018, he managed the development of transmission and distribution projects for Eskom’s Group Capital division.
